SuperBowl in Paris

Since being in France for two days, my uncle has shown me a few things about the French. The baguette, the food, and especially the CHEESE. Ive never been a big fan of cheese until I came here, with my family making me try all kinds of cheeses that would turn you off by smell alone. But it was amazing; the green cheese, yellow cheese, brie(one of my favorites), and some moldy cheeses too. After stuffing myself with cheese and wine, I had decided to go out into the city of Paris and watch the Superbowl, which happened to be playing this sunday.

Now let me start off by saying that I am not a die-hard sports fan but like any tourist I sought out other Americans, or people who atleast spoke English or Spanish, and the only way I knew was go to a bar in Paris to watch the SuperBowl, and after careful consideration I found a little sports bar playing the game.

Once I arrived I did not see a single American in the place, so for the first hour I kinda hovered around and drank a few beers(they had Duff Beer from The Simpsons). After a while I actually got into the game, at half time I decided to grab
another drink and that when I bumped into two Mexican students named Dany and Jose. Once we realized we spoke Spanish it was like meeting distant relatives in a place where you can feel alienated with the language barrier alone. They introduced me to a couple of their friends and we all hit it off, some were from Finland, Scotland, and Mexico. They were a beacon of hope of how this trip might turn out, mind you I've never been this far from home.
After a long night of drinks, we went our separate ways but not before they invited me to stay with them if I ever found myself in Toulouse. So with my night a success, I decided Toulouse was going to be my next destination after Paris.
